NECME is seeking exhibitors for the 13th Annual New
England Conference on Multicultural Education, Connecticut Convention
Center, Hartford, CT - Oct. 18, 2008.
Exhibits
Set-up time begins at 7:00 a.m. There is a loading dock with security
guards available to provide directions. Twenty (20) covered and skirted
tables are available. Exhibitors may provide their own fireproof draping
material. The exhibit rental fee includes chairs, but not individual
waste receptacles or other amenities. Exhibits are located in an open
pre-function area directly in front of the ballroom entrance.
Organizations may send two exhibit staff members with paid exhibit
registration. NECME reserves the right to make the final determination
of all table assignments in the best interest of the conference
exhibits; however, every effort will be made to accommodate space
allocations according to the preferences of exhibitors.
Please note: exhibitors may not assign, sublet, or share table
assignment(s) with any other organization without the written consent of
NECME. Exhibitors must utilize the space assigned and MAY NOT
change locations. Due to limited exhibit tables, preference may be given
to past exhibitors, established educational publishers, and local
artists and craftspeople from New England.

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. The official program is from 8:15
am until 5 pm. Expectations are for 800+ to attend this portion.
Exhibitors may close up to 5:00 pm. Banquet meals are not available to
Exhibitors at their booths. There is a coffee shop in the Convention
Center and adjacent hotel that sells sandwiches and salads plus
restaurants within walking distance.

elimination of bias and discrimination in schools and society;
and the pursuit of teaching and learning strategies that lead to
